Commercial Photography & Videography Policy

The Dharmawangsa Jakarta strives to provide a tranquil and exclusive experience for guests. To maintain the privacy and comfort of our guests and uphold the integrity of our brand image, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta has established the following policy regarding commercial photography and videography within our property:

Unauthorized Photography & Videography
Commercial photography and videography are strictly prohibited in rooms or any area within the hotel without prior written authorization from the hotel's Marketing Communications team. This includes any photography or videography intended for:
Advertising
Marketing
Promotional materials
Any other commercial purpose
Guests are welcome to capture personal photos and videos for their own enjoyment, provided they do so respectfully and without disrupting other guests or hotel operations.

Authorization Process
To request authorization for commercial photography or videography, please submit a written request to the Marketing Communications team at least 7 business days in advance. Your request must include:
Purpose of the shoot
Date and time
Desired locations within the property
Equipment to be used
Number of people involved
The Marketing Communications team will review your request and provide written notification of approval or denial.

Consequences of Unauthorized Filming
Individuals or entities conducting unauthorized commercial photography or videography will be asked to cease filming immediately. Failure to comply may result in:
Escort off the property
Involvement of local authorities

Exceptions
The hotel reserves the right to grant exceptions to this policy at its discretion. Factors considered include the nature of the shoot, the potential impact on the hotel's image, and any existing relationships with the individual or entity.

Representatives of the news media seeking onsite photography or videography for news coverage should contact the Marketing Communications department in advance via email at khansa.franca@the-dharmawangsa.com. Official press credentials are required.
