The name Bimasena was specifically reserved for this prestigious club and spa. Bimasena is the name of the most beloved "Wayang" character – the traditional Javanese puppet show usually shown at night until the break of dawn – who is physically very strong and handsome, a guard for the royal families of Central Java, or a sympathetic and charismatic man. His character personified wisdom and he commanded unique appeal. Audiences watching "Wayang" performances would always look forward to seeing The Bimasena.
